Description
This rope is specifically designed for helicopter rescue operations over water where the risk of entanglement exists and the tactile features of the design ensures good handling qualities.
How it’s Made
This rope is made with an inner UHMWPE rope core and covered with high visibility colours and reflective braided cover. The materials selected for their neutral buoyancy, and retain structural integrity while wet or dry and our innovative construction methods include the incorporation of a helix pattern to provide excellent handling qualities especially if gloves are worn while handling the rope.
Uses
Used by helicopter rescue swimmers, swift water rescue and rescue divers for the safe recovery of person in distress in the water environments.

Proof Load testing is available with this product that complies with all relevant standards. The outside diameter is selected according to customer specifications and ranges in size from 10mm, 12mm and 14mm.

Soft Eyes
For the safe handling of rope in confined aircraft cabins, we have developed soft eye rope terminations. These can also be colour-coded to easily identify the connection points.

Tactile Construction
Our proprietary helix braid can be included in the construction to enable ease of handling and ensure a positive grip when operating in cold ,wet and dark conditions.
