Aero Motion Australia was formed in the 1990's to provide service, support, equipment, and training to industry professionals in the high risk work environments of Aviation and Entertainment for Film and Television Stunts, Rigging and Rope Access, Aerial Circus, Theatre Productions, and Helicopter Operations.

Aero Motion Australia is a leader in safety compliance, quality assurance and technical innovations.

Our specialised products and services include helicopter construction rigging and equipment, aircraft charter, rope access riggers and tower rescue technicians, film and television stunt professionals, stunt riggers, height safety equipment, fabrication, supply, inspections, testing and training.

We provide support for commercial aviation operators of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) for applications involving leading edge payload systems and aircraft.

Meet Gavin

Aero Motion is owned and run by Gavin Smith and you will always communicate directly with Gavin on your projects. 

Gavin is a perfectionist. Every product created or service performed is meticulously executed to the highest possible standard. Buying a product from Gavin means you have a piece of equipment built to last.

Gavin's experience has been developed from a professional career in entertainment and aviation, both as a stunt actor and stunt rigging designer, as well as strong foundation in the engineering trades such as refrigeration and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, construction, steel fabrication, fitting and turning.

From such a diverse background of working and extensive travels Gavin brings this unique skill set to Aero Motion Australia's products and services.

Any spare time Gavin has is put to good use, researching, training, and the pursuit of design improvements to products and developing new services to support the industries he works in.
