Welcome to our latest product! The Fast Rope Device or FRD as we like to call it.
Our Fast Rope Device is a 5-hole variable friction device used for the rapid deceleration of a live load.
The ultimate break load of the device has been tested and approved with an accredited and registered independent Nata/ test laboratory and is excess of 80kN.
Each device has been CNC machined from solid 6061 billet aluminium with material conformance certification and full trace-ability meaning we take product safety very seriously.
We also regard our design improvements significant enough to protect them with an Australian Registered Patent.
We use and only recommend our proprietary designed Trac -12 tractor cable for use in the device as the blended fibres and construction are especially suited for the high radius and high temperatures that exist with this application.
With over 25 years of experience in the film and television stunt industry, our contribution has allowed us the privilege to design and test high-performance stunt and rigging equipment that is fit for purpose and be safe and dependable.
