Aquatic Stunt Rigging - Westpac Helicopter Rescue TVC

We recently worked together with our friends over at Stunt Action Consultants for a Westpac Helicopter Rescue television commercial in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

Conditions on the coast were perfect for shooting a helicopter winch rescue scene for a television commercial. Overcast skies, rough sea state, high winds and relentless rain all in the middle of a Sydney winter made it interesting for the film crew, stunt crew and cast, a challenge for the safe installation and operation of rigging and equipment.

Stunt rigging is a complicated and highly dangerous profession often attempted in challenging and potentially hazardous situations. With the appropriate consultation and management of these risks, we produce the most stunning effects for film and television, but please don't try this at home!
